If you are new to the conference or a returning friend, prepare yourself for an incredible amount of input on the subjects of affordable housing, homelessness, financing and organizational development. Our planning committee works year-long to craft workshops for our six educational tracks, attract interesting keynote speakers and stay ahead of the latest industry trends and concerns. The planning committee is made up of dozens of partner organizations that represent the best in collaboration and partnership to achieve important accomplishments for Michigan.

    2007 Advocacy Day Michigan Capitol Building
    Advocacy Day in association with the Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing was a huge success. Over 1,500 people attended and nearly 1,600 had Lunch on the Lawn, which included legislative staff and guests. Special guest speakers included Ken Bensen, chair of the Coalition for Michigan's Housing and Community Development Fund, House Majority Leader Representative Steve Tobocman and Senator Mark Jansen.
